What:A group of non-profits, universities, and organizations seeking to bridge the digital divide in East Greensboro, and eventually the surrounding areas.
Why: Access to digital resources is necessary to participate in every aspect of modern life—from paying bills to finding community events, to employment, healthcare, and participating in democracy. As technology evolves, so does the need for technology support. We are sharing resources, plans, and best practices in order to effectively serve the East Greensboro community.
Who: Currently, we are three organizations working toward this mission: East White Oak Community Center, F.D. Bluford Library, and the Hayes-Taylor Memorial YMCA. We are open to new members interested in joining this collaborative.
When: We will meet monthly starting Sept. 19.
Where: On Zoom.

To increase device ownership, affordable internet access, digital skills, and affordable technical support in East Greensboro.
