Carlos Grooms (he/him/his) is the Research and Instruction Librarian at North Carolina A&T State University's F.D. Bluford Library. He serves as a liaison to the College of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences and the Center for Excellence. Prior to his current position, Carlos was the Student Success Librarian at Elon University’s Carol Grotness Belk Library, where he focused on developing and supporting library instruction and engagement initiatives, particularly for underrepresented student populations. Carlos also worked as a Program Assistant at Greensboro Public Library. During his time there, Carlos played a pivotal role in teaching basic computer literacy classes, contributing to efforts aimed at bridging digital divides in east Greensboro communities.
