F.D.Bluford Library was named in honor of Dr. Ferdinand Douglas Bluford. He was president (chancellor) of A&T State University for twenty five years. Dr. Bluford died while he was still president in 1955. He was credited with starting the first library on campus.

For security reasons only faculty, staff and students are allowed in the library between midnight and 7:30a.m. To gain access to the building, you will need to swipe your valid Aggie One Card
Your Aggie One Card allows you to check out books, reserves, DVDs and other materials in the Library.
Your Aggie One Card or an Aggie Guest card is necessary to print or make copies in the Library.
Your Banner Number (950...) allows you access to the library databases, e-books, e-journals, e-reserves from off campus. It also let you renew your checked out items online and request materials not available in Bluford Library.
