EndNote Web Tutorial

Endnote Web is a web-based service designed to help students and researchers organize and format reference lists in a variety of publishing styles.

Organizing References

To make changes to your references or group, click My References link.

Next, click the group to be organized.

Check box for references to be organized/deleted/copied/edited. Then click the appropriate link.

At this sight you can also rename your group by clicking the Rename link.

Formatting References

If you want to format references you begin at My References by selecting the group to be formatted.

Click on group and select references you want to format.

Click Copy to Quick List link.

Next, look for Quick List under My References. Click link.

Click Format tab at the top bar.

Select Quick List with the drop-down menu.

Select your required bibliographic style.

At File Format drop-down menu select TXT.

Click Preview and Print icon.

Cut and paste formatted result.

Sharing References

To share references with others who have EndNote Web accounts, select the Organize tab at the top of the page.

Find the group you wish to share and check the Share checkbox.

Click the Manage Sharing button.

Enter e-mail address/es in area provided.

Select the Read only or Read & Write access option.

Click the Apply button.
