Citing Tools

Visit the F. D. Bluford Library for a free copy of the EndNote software, a great program for managing your citations. We also have workshops on how to use EndNote, or you can make an appointment for help.

Below you will find some links for other online tools that will help you with formatting citations.

  • EndNote Web
This is a smaller, online version of the EndNote software. It not only formats your citations, it can also store your searches for you so that you can access them from the Internet instead of having to keep a separate offline list.

You can get the full EndNote software from the Bluford Library for free to all A&T students, staff, and faculty.
  • Son of Citation Machine
This site will prompt you for information about your citation then format it for you.
  • UNC's "Citation Builder"
This site prompts you for the information about a citation and formats it for you. Supports more styles than CitationMachine or BibMe.
  • BibMe
"Easy" citation creator, with support for a wide variety of resource types.
