Disciplinary Data Archives

These disciplinary data repositories allow researchers to deposit their data for archiving and curation in open collections with other datasets.

A&T resources for data curation

A data management plan based on open depositing of data in an established, organizationally-supported repository will be much stronger than a plan based on self-archiving. By submitting your data to the A&T Dataverse, the Bluford Library Institutional Repository, or a disciplinary archive your data will be preserved organizationally and your DMP will be stronger.

The Aggie Digital Archives is our institutional repository. Click to submit resources for archiving with us.

The Bluford Library and Division of Research and Economic Development, in partnership with the Odum Institute, is bringing you an A&T Dataverse. With local support and assistance at the F. D. Bluford Library, Dataverse provides world-class data preservation and access.

The Dataverse system will accept any files, but some may require manual uploading. Contact Nina at or Iyanna at for assistance with planning your Dataverse upload. If you are choosing a format in advance, SPSS Portable (.por) is a great format that will allow automated metadata harvesting to enrich and simplify your data management.
