Reserve Materials, Textbooks and iPads

Reserve Materials

Reserve Materials are put on hold in the library by professors. They are housed on the main floor in the Access /Circulation Desk area. There are two types of reserve materials: electronic reserves (e-reserves) and print reserves (books and periodical articles).

Electronic Reserves

E-Reserves are accessed via our catalog at http://sheba.ncat.edu/search~S2/r (search by course number or title) or http://sheba.ncat.edu/search~S2/p (search by instructor last name, first name).

  • You will be prompted for your first and last name and your Banner ID# to use E-Reserves.
  • E-Reserves are listed as "View or Print" followed by the title of the article.
  • E-Reserve articles are PDF files.

 Print Reserves

Students are allowed to check out reserve materials. Reserve loan periods are set by professors and vary by item. Loan periods and fines are listed below but also available at http://www.library.ncat.edu/services/reserves.html

Textbooks

The library has a copy of MOST current textbooks on reserve. Use our online catalog to search for textbooks.
